We will be giving these paper shopping bags away in Northport over the next 2 weekends in a symbolic protest to the County Bag Tax! 37 days ago, we posted about the Suffolk County Bag Tax and the fact that the monies collected do not go to any Environmental Fund but rather the retailers get to keep the money. The response from citizens around the County has been strong in opposition to this law. Over 46,000 people have been reached by this post, with 937 likes and 370 comments! I love keeping the spirits up of friends in need. Especially when their heart is breaking for the loss of their child. I've heard the despair and fear in his voice...something that seems helpless. His child is gone because her mother didn't put her first and abducted her....dispappeared to the Ukraine. Children need BOTH parents. We demand equal rights in every area of our lives but are controlled by government.

Always great to see Gary Jacobs, advocate for victims of the court system. Gary helps people who have been forced into situations in court because of an abusive spouse, he helps those who are victims of parental alientation, and misuse/abuse of the judicial system.
ALL parents deserve equal parenting rights and just because one wants a divorce, they shouldn't be punsihed as a parent.
It is my belief that victims of domestic violence become victims of the court system b...Read Full Post »

It's sad to see what has happened to our beaches in Montauk. It's time to start advocating for safety and protection of our land...that is currenlty under watch by the US Army Corps. Unfortunately, they're not doing a very good job...so we need to start working together. Manny Vilar has the plan. It's time to listen.
