It's the attention to detail that makes my kids happy. It's not something that can be duplicated or erased.
I love feeding my kids and their friends. Our home has so many areas for entertainment and is so conducive to the kids having a healthy and happy environment to enjoy with their friends.
Eat. Pray. Love.

It was with great pleasure to be invited to join the LIA's Women's Collaborative. The Long Island Association’s Women’s Collaborative is an innovative new model that is bringing together, empowering and engaging Long Island’s leading businesswomen while encouraging partnerships and providing support, education and growth opportunities. In turn, the businesswomen involved in the Collaborative are informing the LIA about issues important to them and the region’s economic vitality, such as equal pay for equal work and making child care and early education opportunities more affordable and accessible to working families.

I am not perfect but I'm accountable. The other day, I apologized to a vicious, malicious and nasty person. It felt good to take accountability for the times I was wrong. This person did not. There was just a cold, calculating stare....scary. Very. But it was good for me to see the truth....clearly and to identify with one of my biggest strengths: bravery. It validated that my choices have been right. That I am becoming the best version of myself...each day!
No one is perfect. Everyone makes mistakes. Accepting that you will never get an apology is the best gift you can give yourself. Be brave. Stand tall. Be true. Be you.
Some people have to be in our lives....even though we wish they weren't. BUT accepting and knowing who they are is one ☝️ BIG step. Move forward but with eyes and ears open.
Doing this solidifies that you are the better person and always will be. Accept that and move forward...with pride.

Celebrating National Donut Day with Salvation Army Minister, Charles Roberts. NDD was established to honor The Salvation Army’s Donut Lassies, who served the sweet treats to soldiers on the front lines during World War I.
The Donut Lassies are often credited with popularizing the donut in the United States when the troops returned home from war. The donut now serves as a symbol of the many social services The Salvation Army provides to more than 25 million people in need each year.
Starting in 1917, approximately 250 Salvation Army volunteers provided assistance to American soldiers in France during World War I.
Because there were limited resources, donuts were fried only seven at a time.
Last year, more than 25 million Americans received assistance from The Salvation Army’s 3,500 officers, 65,000 employees and 3.2 million volunteers.
To learn more about National Donut Day and how you can get involved with your local Salvation Army, visit salvationarmyusa.org. or contact Charles through the contact button on this site
Oh, and thank you Starbucks for the tea and donuts
