The Milieu Magazine cover party was a huge success. I am overwelmed with the love and support I recieved on Monday evening by my family, friends, and so many inspiring women. We were able to collect an entire U-Haul truck with everyone's generous donations of food, toys, linens and supplies that were sent out to local Long Island charities. My co-worker, Jeff described the energy of the night as "electrifying" which makes me ecstatic! I really want people to feel good about giving back to those who are less fortunate. "Hundreds of people came to the event with a great need to help others, and that is what life is all about" Ula BluChip explained. Seeing all the faces around the room set an impression on me and created a momory that will last forvever. I truly feel like we were able to make a difference with the help of Milieu and I could not be more grateful for their support!
Thank you to everyone who came and to everyone who helped put the party together: Vincent's Clam Bar, Echo Agency, Harlan, The Tilles Center, Jerome Bell, Milieu Magazine, LI Press and the entire BluChip Team! With their support, we were able to give toys, books, games and food to Angela's House, The Salvation Army, and LI Head Start. The biggest surprise of the night was when my clients (and friends), Michael Ardolino and John Fitzgerald came up to the micrpohone to give me two pink slippers. They told me, in front of the crowd, that if I put them on, I could give $500 for each slipper to the charity of my choice. Well, that blew me away. Of course, I put them on immediately! Later, we decided that we NEEDED to give to The Next CoverGirl, Jackie Hance who founded "Beautiful Me" in honor of her three deceased daughters.
I know I said it a lot but THANK YOU...and I hope everyone can understand the tears in my speech...many of you have touched my heart.

We loved this blog post on the South Bay Wellness Blog, titled "Combat negative behaviors with awareness." By Carole and Denise, Reidiant Light.
To begin to recognize negative behaviors, one can practice generating more awareness and insightfulness. After each experience, stop for a moment to recognize what occurred in the experience. When things do not turn out as positive as you would have liked, try to identify how things could have gone differently in order to achieve a better outcome. Here are some ways to do that:
a) Create a daily journal. Write down your experiences each day.
b) At the end of each week, review your journal.
c) After reviewing the journal weekly, make a list of what you do want and what you don’t want in your life.
d) Start to make these positive changes in your life. For example, take one thing you don’t like about yourself and start to create positive changes. Don’t move on to the next change until you have reached the results you desire. One day at a time. You are always in control over your life. Only you can make these positive changes. Hypnosis works so well to help you move forward in your life as long as you are active in working on the resolution.
This blog really helps us realize the power of positivity. It teaches us not to dwell on the negativity in life. Every hardship we may face can be a challenge, but one that can inspire growth and increased self awareness. Try new things, get inspired and start living a healthier, happier life!

"My neighbor had recommended Dr. Hsu’s office when my tooth broke. The staff at the office are great and helpful to calm the fear"… - Patient Review Dr. Oogle
Going to the dentist can be daunting, and cause fear, anxiety, and feelings of distress for many. Dr. Grace Hsu, of Long Island Dental Spa understand the dis-ease that a dental appointment can cause people, and her goal was to create a dental practice where people can come and feel comfortable, and relaxed.
Dr. Grace and her staff at Long Island Dental Spa welcome each patient with warmth and care. When you walk in the door you will be greeted with a smile and an extended hand. It is their mission to provide everyone with compassionate, expert care and comfort in a clean, calm high-tech “spa” environment.
They want you to have a gorgeous smile and to actually enjoy the process, and of course be happy with the results. What sets them apart is their belief in very gentle, quality dental care; the best dentistry that they can possibly provide.
During your appointment, you can expect to be seated punctually in a relaxing treatment room with a personal television and head phones for your comfort. Dr. Hsu will thoroughly examine you and you will be provided with various treatment options. The risks and benefits of each option will be fully explained to you so that you can make an informed decision.
LI Dental Spa believes that you can take an active role in your treatment and, make sure you have all the knowledge available to make the right choices. At the end of your visit you will receive a warm, soothing towel as well as a new personal dental care kit to take home with you. Their goal is to provide you the best dentistry possible in the most soothing environment, and so far their patients agree that they have!

Most people dread having to dirve a truck, but the Blu Crew jumped at the chance. We had a lot of toys to donate to Angela's House, but with no sled in sight, and the holidays right around the corner we knew Santa was to busy to lend a hand.
The Blu Crew took matters into their own hands. With their mission of making sure the only Blue Christmas children would have this year is a Blu Chip Christmas, our team got to work. With love in our hearts and Christmas cheer on our minds we ran to the nearest UHaul, and rented a the biggest truck they had available.
Brittany BluChip and Ula BluChip drove the truck across Long Island. Ula drove as Brittany hung out the window putting makeup on in the side view mirror. (Apparently these trucks forgot to put the mirrors in the visors, and even Santa's helpers need to look good.) After a long cold treck to the Milieu Cheers for Charity Cover Party, which served as our make shift toy shop, we arrived. Hundreds of guests greeted us with Toys and gifts, and we all took handfuls to load into the back of the truck.
It was a sight to be seen. Women in dresses and high heels, children, and men in dress pants and ties lined up and worked together, so well Santa's elves themselves would have been impressed. After a beautiful night, with the help of family and friends we successfully loaded our truck, and will be able to spread Christmas cheer to children near and dear.

We received this amazing, heart warming letter from a student at Hauppauge High School regarding our presentation for career day. We love getting such good feedback. Thank you to all the students and teachers for having us!
Hi Mrs. Caro!
I was one of the students at Hauppauge High School today that saw your presentation with Brittany. I just wanted to tell you that you guys did an amazing job.
I have always been very concerned about my future and career choice. Today you really inspired me to work harder in life to find something I have a passion for and also make a great living out of it.
You also opened up my mind to new possibilities in the business industry. I’m similar to you in that I’m very spontaneous in my work ethic and I have to constantly be switching up what I’m doing. I thought that this was a weakness of mine because I usually see successful people as the ones that can focus on their task and stick with it until completion. I didn’t believe that this weakness would work well in marketing and business because the job requires so much focus. You really made me re-think that because you said that this trait is actually a strength. I was also able to connect with you because I contemplated being a child or school psychologist all the time and I was even thinking about pursuing this as a career. After your presentation though, I became more open to majoring in business and I can possibly see myself being successful in it. Even from a young age, I’ve been interested in real estate and watching HGTV. To me, business seemed like a very risky career ch oice though. Is there any advice you would give me if I entered the business field?
Overall, your presentation today really got me thinking about taking a chance in business. I’m only 15 years old, but after hearing about the internships, I feel like I need to start working and interning right now! I want to experience everything I can so that I can pick the perfect career for me.
Thank you so much for inspiring and motivating me today. Please tell Brittany that her story was also great because she looks quite young and she already has a fantastic career at BluChip.
Thank you once again. I hope you have a wonderful day!
